POD Chassis Dyno Tuning
Introduction
At POD Racing We have Teamed Up with Pinnacle Performance Tuning to provide the Ultimate Chassis Dyno Service Equipped with Superflows SF-848 rated at 1500hp and 200mph, It features 42-inch diameter rolls for minimum tire deflection and maximum contact patch size. Torque is measured with a temperature-compensating load cell for precise torque and power readings. We can run a variety of vehicle tests, including single-gear or all-gear tests at wide open throttle. Controlled acceleration, control steady-state, aero load, and drive cycle tests can be easily run with the Dual eddy current power absorber module. The steady-state and drive cycle tests can be performed at full or partial throttle settings, for quick precise EFI tuning.
Dyno Cell
The Dyno Cell Features 60hp Worth of Fans To keep constant temperature and ensure repeatable results. A 60" fan Forces Air into the grill opening at 60+ mph to better simulate real world conditions, Intercooled Tuning can be done with greater accuracy. Most vehicles we tune can run non-stop while maintaining a real world operating temperature, enabling a base fuel map to be completed in one to two hours. The Dyno Cell also features twin 36" Exhaust fans that can keep up with 1000+ hp diesel exhaust, So don't worry about choking. To cool the dual eddie current power absorber we have another set of 36" fans to allow for extended testing periods.
So What can I Test
At Pinnacle Performance Tuning you can run inertia tests or load tests, run the 1/4 mile or simulate a 60% grade. For the Serious we can install wide band lambda sensors in every cylinder for Individual cylinder balancing, for those that want every last bit of power, we can evaluateexhaust systems, induction systems, lubricants, performance coatings, pinion angle alignment, axle bearings, rear ends, and u-joints. Quantify tire, clutch, or torque converter slip. Study the effects these components have on power and torque without expensive and time-consuming track testing. Perform short-term durability tests on engine and drive line components, and so much more.
